Summer Youth Programs

What is Partners' Summer Youth program?

The Summer Youth Day Camp is a community assets-based summer fun day camp for youth ages
6-11.

How much does it cost?

This program is made possible in part with funding from
the Tony Grampsas Youth Services grant. The
requested donation is $75.00 per child.

Does my child have to attend everyday?

No. Children can attend as they like. They can also
drop-in any time between 8am and noon.

Are scholarships available?

Scholarships are available. If you are in need of a
scholarship, please indicate your need on the
registration form.

Why should my child participate?

This program is filled with fresh air activities, arts, crafts,
and community projects. The staff will be working hard
to assure that each child builds positive social skills and
develops a deeper sense of responsibility for others and
the community.

Activities include:

Overview (Civility)-
This program is packed with a variety of fun, energetic, and enriching activities. This year’s focus is Civility, teaching your child how to participate in a respectful and kind way.

Fantastic Fridays-
Each week will end with a round up of the week’s activities. Your child will participate in talent shows, pet shows, luaus, field days, scavenger hunts and water games, to name a few.

Team and Social Skills-
Your child will be working in teams which are comprised of three group leaders and a collection of all age groups. These teams will spend the entire six weeks together building relationships and working together to accomplish any number of activities.

Volunteers:

Partners Summer Youth Program greatly encourages volunteers from the community of assist in providing our youth with the greatest of experiences. If you have time and something to give to the Summer Youth Program, give us a call and we can work it into our programming.
